The First post........

Hey all,
This is my online journal as i prepare for my onSite experience at Alliance University College.
Many of you may not know what onSite is, so heres a quick answer to the question "What is onSite?"

onSite is the overseas internship program of Alliance University College. It is 7 - 10 months of ministry and study in a foreign nation. It satisfies the internship requirements of the Bachelor of Ministry and Bachelor of Theology programs, but is also an option for Arts & Science students in any of AUC/NUC's programs. While on onSite students can earn 12 credits for internship (ministry students only) as well as an additional 9 credits that can be applied to almost any program. These credits include 6 credits of language study and 3 credits for onSite History and Culture.Students may apply to onSite at the beginning of their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year to go the following year. All students in the Intercultural Studies concentration must apply to onSite. Students must complete Cultural Anthropology and Team Dynamics (aka the onSite course) before going onSite.

My onSite experience is going to be different from most other ones as I will not be going overseas. Instead I will go to a different culture here in Canada. (Perhaps Quebec?) I do not know where yet, but in the coming months we will see where God puts me.
